WELCOME!!

Welcome to the Bridges Summer School Program, started in the summer of 2015. This program emphasizes the importance of crossover between art and other content areas that are studied in the classroom such as math, language arts, and science. Traditional summer school programs are usually considered remedial and art is not typically included. In the Bridges Summer School Program the teachers are trying to create a more welcoming and fun environment that reaches out to many areas of interest in the hopes of engaging more students. In this blog, parents and teachers can track the projects that students are making each week (some changes may occur) during art and see how it connects back to the other content areas.
